January/February Beauty Wishlist!

YouTubers and bloggers have been doing their "2012 Favorites" videos/posts lately and it has inspired me to create a wishlist! Let's go in order of application...

First up!

Origins Skincare

Origins Skincare Must Haves ($55)... Recently I have been using the Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask. I've really been liking it and thought it'd be nice to try some of their other products. This little set is from Sephora (you can get it here) and includes a face wash, exfoliater, moisturizer, eye cream, and anti-aging serum. Sounds good to me!!

Dior Diorskin Forever Flawless Perfection Wear Makeup

Diorskin Forever Flawless Foundation ($47)... This is inspired by a video by Lorraine, TheCurrentCustom, on YouTube. I'm still grieving over my beloved YSL Teint Resist being discontinued, and it sounds like this might be a good replacement! It's supposed to be medium to full coverage, long wearing, and doesn't need a powder on top. Perfect. (find it here)

Dolce & Gabbana The Eyeshadow Smooth Eye Colour Quad in "Jewels 142"

Dolce & Gabbana Eye Colour Quad ($59)... Sephora now carries Dolce & Gabbana cosmetics so obviously I need to try some of their products out! I'm not sure which quad I like the most, but this one in Jewels 142 is something a little bit different for me. Sure, I have these colors, but not in one palette! Have any of you tried D&G cosmetics?? (find it here)

Hourglass Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara in "Onyx"

Hourglass Film Noir Mascara in Onyx ($28)... Christine from Temptalia named this the best high end dramatic mascara for 2013. Now, I have mascaras practically coming out of my ears, but I would really like to give this one a go! (find it here)

Too Faced Perfect Lips in "Nude"

Too Faced Perfect Lips liner in Nude ($18.50)... I can't remember the video I was watching, but one YouTuber raved about this lip liner. I am forever on the hunt for the perfect nude lip liner. Quite frankly it's getting old! I just feel like I need to try this one. It's sold out at the moment but when it's back in I will definitely be purchasing! (find it here)

NEW Illamasqua "Generation Q" Collection!!!

My favorite blushes, hands down, are from Illamasqua. The quality and pigmentation can't be beat.. not to mention they have the best matte shades ever! So, naturally, I have been wanting to try some of their eye shadows. :)  I'm not one for singles (I just don't end up using them!) so I was so excited to see these pics of new eye shadow palettes!

The upcoming collection comes out in October, but some products may be released early! I have my eye on this one...

This palette is beautiful too! However, the brown shade looks to be a cream, which I'm not so keen on.

I really don't need any new highlighters, but this "Gleam" in Aurora looks gorgeous! Ugh, if only I could actually use up the products I have :(

New! MAC Styleseeker Collection...

For some reason I had NO CLUE this MAC collection was coming out... am I the only one who was in the dark on this one?! Anyway, I thought I'd share the Styleseeker promo pics with you guys!

I actually quite like the little duos that MAC comes out with. There are usually a couple with permanent shades, and a couple with limited edition shades. I'm thinking of getting the duo below...

MAC Marche aux Puces Eye Shadow x2... This duo comes with Chessa, a midtone golden orange (veluxe pearl) and Indie Spirit, a chestnut brown (matte). This would be a great duo for fall! I'm debating whether to wait for Temptalia's review, or just go for it and purchase... ?!

APRIL Wish List: Shoes & Bags!

Lately I've found myself browsing less for makeup and more for accessories, particularly handbags and shoes! Here are a few of the things I have been lusting over lately...

Louis Vuitton Damier Neverfull MM

I haven't purchased a handbag since my last summer and I've gotten an itch for a new one! Although I would just die for a Celine Luggage bag, something like this LV tote is more affordable for me... and is still right out of my price range :)

J Crew Tillary tote

So this is my Celine-inspired substitute. This handbag is from J Crew (found here) and is leather, so I'm thinking the quality would be nice!

TOMS Ash University Rope Sole Classics

I've never been a huge fan of TOMS, but I saw these in the store a while back and I still think about them.. You can check them out here!

January Wish List 2012!!

Yay first post of the new year!! I'm trying really hard not to make any resolutions (I always break them anyway!) but I do see the gym calling my name.. toning up is definitely called for as my wedding is fast approaching! Another thing that I really need to get on is finding a foundation for the big day. In the next few months I will be trying out as many as I can! What are your favorite foundations, and why? 'NEW Jewelery!! House of Harlow, Nordstrom, etc'

If you have looked at any of my past "Jewelry Wishlist" posts, you will know I'm pretty much obsessed with House of Harlow 1960 Jewelry =)  About a week ago I just happened to stumble upon some pieces that have been on my wishlist, on SALE!! Of course I'm a sucker for a sale ;) so I picked up a few things!

Yep, I got 3 HOH rings!!! YAY! I will warn you that these run a bit small. I wish I could have gotten them in a size 8 so I could wear them on my middle and index finger, but all the sale had were 7's! Anyway, I absolutely love all of them. They have such a nice weight to them! Really, I just can't get enough =)

I also picked up a few pieces from Nordstrom while I was in Chicago...

And...

I loooove me some wrap bracelets ;) haha  I've been making them myself, but at such a great price (like $10 maybe?) and with such an array of colors I just had to get this one!!

Estee Lauder Pure Color Crystal Lipstick in "Crystal Pink"... This is such a pretty pink lippie! I've been wanting to dabble in EL lipsticks and I think this will be my first! If you have never tried Estee Lauder lipsticks, like me, Sam and Nic (pixiwoo on youtube) have a great video that goes over all the different formulas and some of their favorites. Check it out!

 Illamasqua Powder Blusher in "Lover"... More of my Illamasqua obsession, of course! "Lover" is a gorgeous vibrant apricot color. I don't have any peach/apricot blushes in my collection yet so this one is a necessity!! Right?!.... Come on back me up here ;)

Illamasqua Toxic Nature Collection Cream Pigments (pic from Temptalia.com) The first shade on the left "Hollow" and the fourth shade "Emerge" have definitely caught my eye! Great to use on their own or as a base for your eyeshadow!

Makeup Wish List! to LIVE FOR...

One good thing about now living in MN is that I am only a "hop, skip and a jump" away from the Mall of America :) This weekend my friend Samantha, from back home, is coming to visit! Of course I am taking her to the mall and I've been thinking over my wish list of makeup products that I want to check out while we are there. Here are a few:

 YSL lip gloss.. I have lusted over these glosses for as long as I can remember. However, I made up my mind that if I find an absolutely gorgeous color, I am buying it. End of story. ;)

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation.. I am simply in love with my Vichy Dermablend Foundation at the moment. Really there is no reason for me to even try anything else. Buuuut somehow I can not make myself stop! I have heard great things about Double Wear and this weekend I am going to grab a sample and see for myself what all the hype is about!

Bobbi Brown lipstick.. There are so many new gorgeous shades out from Bobbi Brown. I have never tried their lip products but I am on a lipstick kick right now, so I want to check them out. No idea what shade, but I am getting one!

Estee Lauder Wild Violet Collection Lipstick/Lipgloss.. Like I said, I have been obsessed with lipsticks and trying different brands lately. I saw a video review on a blog recently and I am totally sold on the darkest shade of lipstick!

 Make Up For Ever Uplight Luminizer.. All of my favorite highlighters are powder (as you can clearly tell from my last post) and I am really interested in checking out some cream products. GossMakeupArtist made a video on youtube.com a while back before they were actually released. That video planted the idea in my head that I simply MUST pick one of these up the next time I go to Sephora, if they have them!

Last but not least..CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine Lipsticks.. Ok. So speaking of lipsticks, there is no way I can NOT get one of the new Shine lipsticks. Uhhhhg I die, seriously. lol
