Update: Things to come!!

So for just over a week I have been gone on vacation back home to see family and friends. Needless to say, I now have posts backed up that I need to do!

While I was gone I did some serious damage to an OPI display =).......  I have new brushes from a couple different brands to review....... I hit up the drugstore and purchased a few items....... and I have a GIVEAWAY coming up!!!


So what has everyone been up to lately?! I feel like I will never catch up reading other people's blogs that I have missed while I was gone! haha

'Update: Uninspired & Homesick'

When I post an "Update" it's usually just sort of a personal blurp, a glimpse into what's going on in my life or things coming up that I will be doing. Or sometimes a way for me to vent! Just fyi =) That way if you aren't interested in these kind of posts you can skip them, I won't hold it against you! ;)

I've been feeling rather uninspired as of late. Maybe it's because of my crazy work schedule lately, or because of the erratic weather.. I'm not sure, but things just haven't been exciting me like they usually would.

I have also been a bit home-sick since going to Chicago and seeing my bestie. I had forgotten how nice it is to have my girlfriends around!

However, I am looking forward to seeing my parents soon. I'm going to be flying in to Chicago to meet up with my mom and have some quality girl-time with her for 2 days, then driving to WI to meet up with some more family (dad, aunt, cousins) for another 2 days before flying back home to MN.



Have any of you had to move away from your family and friends before??

Update: MAC Master Class...

Yesterday I was browsing around on the MacPro site and came across the spring list for their Master Classes (instructional classes you can take if you are a part of MacPro). It just so happens there is a class next week at the MAC store near where I live. I decided to call them up and see if there were any spots left for the class, figuring it would have been full-up long ago.. well there were 2 seats open! Meant to be, right?!
So next week I'm attending the class and will hopefully come away with some great tips and new products to share with you! I'm pretty pumped about it :) should be lots of fun. I'll take pics if I can!

'Update: The last week..'

As I said in my previous post one of my besties, Samantha, came to visit me! While she was here we did some MAJOR shopping: Mall of America, Uptown in Minne, Okaboji and Spirit Lake in Iowa, the list goes on and on!! Tomorrow I will take pics and show you some of my absolute favorite purchases :) So excited to share them all with you! For now, I need to rest my sore muscles (we walked a million miles!) and get a good night's sleep!
